Do they actually think this garment is attractive?! It looks like a shapeless bathrobe and it's as ugly as can be and who needs a cashmere bathrobe? QVC really needs to invest in a decent stylist, ugh. (poof me if you want but couldn't sit silent on this one.)

Re: Isaac Cashmere Duster?

[ Edited ]

Not liking Isaac's cashmere.  Itchy and thin even though he says it's 2 ply.

Without thickness, this duster will lose its shape.  On zoom, it appears woven rather loosely and in one of the photos, you can see through it.

Naadam is 2 ply, thicker, no itching on me, and much better prices, too.  Couldn't see through one of the long cardigans.

I think most dusters look like shapeless bathrobes.  It's really kind of a useless, unattractive garment.

I found Isaac's cashmere to be very itchy and I have no sensitivity to wool or cashmere.  Had to return the one sweater I ordered.

I bought a Naadam crewneck sweater from QVC last year.  Very good quality and really soft.  They are currently offering a $75 crewneck for men and women in many wonderful colors on their website.  I'm going to give it a try once I decide on what color I want.  A Naadam crewneck sweater like I bought last year is $105 on QVC.  Not sure if the quality of the $75 crewneck is the same as the sweater QVC offers but it's worth a try.

Re: Isaac Cashmere Duster?

I've had cashmere from many years gone by, always 2ply, never itchy.

IM's cashmere is not soft and it's very itchy & irritating. I bought that cocoon wrap he did not long ago, bought it on easy pay. It was horrible - way too small and I bought a medium, arm holes totally in the worng place, didn't fit probperly, looked terrible on.

Most if not all cashmere is 2ply, I've never seen or found or heard of cashmere being more than 2ply. Not sure where IM finds his goats from from their wool is not at all nice.

I have cashmere right now that I bought from marshall's a year or so ago. Really nice, very soft, feels and looks good on. I do love cashmere done right. This time of year marshall's for one gets in lovely styles, very diff from anything I see anywhere else, great price points too, well worth my money. Prices that rival IM's any day of the week. I would never take the time to even consider any of his cashmere but I love to go to marshall's to check out their's and yes usually add one or two pieces home.

Cashmere does not need to cost HUNDREDS of dollars to be nice and soft, be stylish to look and feel luxurious on. His is just not worth the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ he/they (the q) charges.

And dusters in general - long draggy totally unattractive and pretty worthless all my opinion.

Dusters are great!  They are nice to wear at home, and great to throw over a less than wonderful outfit to run an errand or go to lunch.
