I keep hearing that description across the clothing lines and I'm afraid it's going to be hot.

Liquid knit is polyester with spandex. Rayon is different.

Do you really buy that?

I think to some extent the designers do have their say in what goes into the 'recipe' for the fabrics in their garments. Some clothing manufacturers even own their own branded fabric blends b/c they bought the rights to use it exclusively.

I wish the hosts would say the full word - SPANDEX.  To just say "span" seems lazy to me.  Same thing if they just say "poly" instead of polyester.

Polyester is good for cold weather wear? I always freeze in Polyester.

Modal is made of rayon and all modal content I find to be like a wet or damp rag in the summer. I roast in poly also.

not so easy to find natural fibers like cotton. I know cotton wrinkles and requires ironing. I do like cool and breezy cotton. some modal and cotton is Ok. Poly span and nylon blends no.

@sissy01    I am from the south & prefer the snow of the south fabric, cotton!    I try to avoid the "new" fabrics like a plague.

When I was still working I bought 2 Rayon dresses. 

One was soft, wrinkle free and I loved it. 

The other one shrunk 2-3 sizes when it was washed and was discarded!

For me, nothing beats Pima or Supima cotton!
