It definitely looks like applique when she shows the inside of the sweater at 5.41 of video.  A568882

Intarsia looks the same on both sides of the garment.

You're looking at the right side.  Online .... she showed the back side of the piece.

Re: Is it intarsia or applique?

The hearts look knitted into the garment and not appliqued onto the front...? Honestly, it's difficult to say what it is from looking at the vid.

@SilleeMee. @ALRATIBA.  Inside doesn't look like intarsia.

Does it make that much of a difference which one it is?

I don't follow why this would be important. Never heard of intarsia before.

@SaveTheTurtles.  Makes a difference in the appearance of the garment over time as it's laundered.  Intarsia would be knit as part of the sweater, applique is stitched to the surface and easily frays.

@SaveTheTurtle

For those of us who do know the difference, using the wrong description casts a negative impression on both the host and "designer."

For the shows that I watch, I think Dennis and Isaac are the only designers still around that actually know what they are selling.
