Over the years I have collected the most lovely bling items from the Q.  George Simonton tops,  Isaac sequin long cardigans,  Lois Del Olio sequin top and pants, Joan Rivers sparkle scarves in lots of colors and let's not forget Bob Mackie tops and caftans..   I just ordered Belle sequin tanks.
I find a way to wear my items many items year round depending on the color. The scarves are a great accessory and I mix with jeans and/or jeans jacket.  One of the best part of bringing out my winter wardrobe is looking at my "sparkly box".  Maybe you think me silly, but all of it brings me joy,  I say, be creative and go for it,

We're in holiday/party season. I love bling especially for holiday dressing.

I feel silly in sequins.  It's just not me.

Plus, I really have nowhere to wear them.

Bling is definitely in during the Holiday Season for me. Love a bit of sparkle on my tops, dresses and pants. I even have bling on my dress heels. Just a bit, not a lot. Very festive.

It is really interesting how throughout history fashion has always been influenced by the health or lack of, of the economy and the mood of the people from everything from pandemics and the P word.

That is what I always remembered from my costume class. (hated the sewing machine part but the history was fascinating).

And I think you can never wear too much sparkle!Woman LOL

Hi, @Whispergirl !  I like many are surprised by how much shiny embellishment is on fashion these days.  Perhaps a reaction to the quarantine period we all experienced.  That said, I prefer my bling understated, more like lurex fabric than attached sequins or jewels.  I prefer the hint of bling vs the BLING, I suppose.  LOL
