Re: Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

Sales must be down---Prices are UP--which is why sales are down...

I used to like many of her offerings but it seems the clothes have gotten much less interesting in the last couple of years.  I have no interest in making a purchase of them like I used to.

@KittySoftPaws   The worst host???   Hardly.   I can name several hosts that are my automatic turnoffs  -  [rpbably someone you like to listen to.

Foetunately, you and I don't have to agree with each other.

Re: Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

Did you actually read my post before assuming? I said the worst host, because of her being so petite and small as Lori's clothes are over the top huge on her and make the clothes look even more huge and ridiculous. Much like your reaction and comment. If you get that wiggged out over that, oh well.

Re: Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

I hope LOGO is not going away. I checked my tv listing for QVC this morning and saw that there are no LOGO presentations this coming week, including next Monday, when they usually have a one- or two-hour presentation. I still love the tie-dye, and I love her longer tops, assymetrical hemlines and the rayon/spandex blend. My closet it full of LOGO.

Re: Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

I've always thought LOGO appealed to the "retired art teacher" and "when I am an old woman, I shall wear purple" demographic.

With prices going up, I can see where ladies would have less disposable income to play with. Plus, LOGO is a lot of look. I have 2 LOGO dresses and one cardie, and that's enough tie dye for me. But I don't buy much clothing at QVC.

As for representing the brand, Amy is drowning in the fabric. She has the right personality for LOGO but the wrong body type. I can see why Lori was working with her, though.

QVC is scaling back on LOGO's airtime. They did have that TSV before all the Christmas season. Perhaps Excel Brands cut LOGO's marketing spend, so we see them less.

[ Edited ]

QVC (Qurate) pays Xcel a percentage of LOGO sales revenue under a direct to retail licensing agreement.  The current QVC agreement expires 11/1/2024.

Details available in Xcel's regulatory financial disclosures.

Re: Is Q experimenting with the LOGO line?

And Amy makes sure EVERYONE knows she's in the tiniest size available. Frequently. Ms. Goldstein wears what QVC's average buyer wears (a 10-12) and they need a few more hosts and models that size, not Amy's size 00. She makes me tired just watching her. All of QVC's LOGO items are on clearance and there's nothing new nor has there been since spring. They're ditching the line. Layered clothing is so yesterday.
