@ALRATIBA.  The so-called intarsia sweater just arrived, so I'm here with my report.  It's a beautiful sweater, i got the plum color and it's much richer than it appears in pictures. It's very heavyweight, better for your climate than mine.  Neckline is perfect, not too low.    It's oversized; I'd like it better in a size smaller.

 

Here's a picture of the inside, shoulder. and armhole seams,  I think it's faux intarsia.

Thanks .... just what we thought = an ordinary cut and sew machine knit - with rather messy seams.
