I'm putting my 2 cents worth and that is why why why are the inseams on the pants with every designer so short. A regular at a 27" or 28" is not a full length. Whatever happened to 30 or 31"? I'm not a 20 year old. I am in the senior group and these lengths are not a good look, and quite uncomfortable.

Try searching full length.  More 30 inch than you could ever order.  I know because I have to have them hemmed.

Don't search crop, there you will se the shorter inseams.

If I could find regular pants with a 27" or 28" inseam personally I'd grap them. I've not come across a regular with anything less than starting with a 29" inseam.

It must be a current trend in ankle length. I'm a petite but when I see a pair of jeans described as petite ankle length and they're 23," no. Too short and my legs are short. If the regular is 26" or 27" that might or might not work, depends on the rise and also on the leg opening circumference. I prefer a tapered leg, not too wide at the bottom.

Anyway, I agree it's very frustrating for many petite women too.

@Still Raining I did search for "full length" and the inseams are 28" on the most part. There is NO 30" so idk where or what u searched. FDJ design was the only one who was true to sizing and I had to pay a pretty penny for it.

And just today I was thinking the American marketplace is overflowing with pants -- from 3" shorts to 34" tall bell bottoms and every length in between. I can't remember any other time when it's been so easy to find the most flattering length for anyone's legs.

Now skirts and dresses -- that's a different story.

I love ankle pants and crops. I prefer something between 25 and 29 inches.

It would be so much easier if we could search pants by inseam.  We used to be able to search this way and it saved a lot of time.

I laugh when I see young girls wear these shorty shorts getting out of the car they have to pull them down fast or you'll have a view then as they're walking into the store they have to pull them out of their ****k.

I only buy full length and need 29”. Most are too long and need to be shortened.
