Her gown is stunning and the wedding was absolutey gorgeous. The groom should have worn socks! 60 years from now when no one remembers the no socks look, his grandchildren are going wonder if Grandad was so poor that he couldn't afford a pair of socks...LOL

I didn’t know who this couple was, so I Googled for more pics.

His body language is...odd...so not connecting with her.

He’s barely touching her in many of the pictures.

In almost all posed pics, His body is facing away from her.

The hand-in-the-pocket? Some might say the body language is...

he’s hiding something.

Saw where this was one of the pics...

I think it could be a premonition:

’I swear I didn’t know he was gay...but I love him anyway.’

I would think the photographer had more to do with the way they were posed than any lack of connection.

@chrystaltree. It’s the style. When you were young didn’t you try and keep up with the latest style?

It’s also a preppy thing as was my first husband who wore loafers with no socks in 1967.

If I remember correctly, this is the first time he saw his bride in her gown. Of course the photographer told them how to pose.

Love her gown, not super formal, kind of angelic, she's certainly a little beauty. I like the blue suits, but I would have insisted he wear a tie and socks. Love the venue.
