I'm not saying this in a smart a** kind of way, at all, but how do you know the TSV didn't do well? Is it because there were no One Time Only pieces?

There are still lots of sizes left in most colors. I saw a counter on PMS that said 22,000 were sold which is a lot, but if there are sizes and colors left they must have quite a few in their inventory and, therefore, anticipated better sales.

QVC would typically have an inventory of about 50,000 units for an Isaac TSV item. They probably barely sold half of that by the end of the TSV selling period.

They'll trot it out again and perhaps offer easy pay, but those who think the price will go down shouldn't hold their breath. QVC is not very good about doing that even with items which aren't flying out of the warehouse.

If you really want it but were opposed to the price, check as-is in a few weeks. Almost every TSV ends there. And if there is a problem, you can still return it.

Susan Graver's puffer coat and the Lamo boots just hit as-is.

Good thought! I was back & forth on the white, but I thought it was a tad too short for me. I have a longer torso and the XXS/XS were only around 24" long. I prefer shirts around 25.5", much less a jacket. I also thought a couple of princess seams running down the back would've made it more enticing, but I'm sure that would've added to the cost also.

Re: ISAAC MIZRAHI TSV DID NOT DO TOO WELL….

I think many more would have sold if on easy pay. I think QVC needs to look at their competition and see how often they have easy pays/flex pays and also look at their clearance prices. $4 or $5 off to me is not a clearance price!! I find myself not buying anywhere near as much as I used to with the price increases and the lack of easy pays. As far as the jacket is concerned, I don't think you have to wait for spring to wear it, just wear it under your coat. I have lighter jackets/blazers and do it all the time. If it were on easy pay I would have bought it but money is tight right now since I had severe hurricane damage and had 2 contractors from h*ll.

I saw the tall/long waisted hosts (like Jayne Brown) wearing a long button down shirt under it. As soon as I saw Jayne, I knew that that jacket was skewing short and she was trying to cover it up.

Just like how all the models scrunch up the sleeves or wear a long sleeve top under a jacket so you can't tell that the sleeve is too short on them (they have some super long arms!)

And then the flood pants on on almost all the models.

LOL ITA--Jayne B. looked ridiculous in this. It was so cropped on her. A jacket that hits the upper hip, imo, or right below the waist, IS too cropped on me. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

His TSV's seems to be hit or miss.

13,000 is not a lot for a house brand.

I'm sure we'll see it for $48, 6 easy pays and free S&H soon.

ITA

I think he's super popular on the Q, and this TSV was a miss--largely due to the timing. As others have stated, it's freezing in most areas of the country. Most want to snuggle up in a fleece blanket or bundle up in a huge, down coat, LOL. The bright colors were also a turn off for many though i like bright colors. The cropped length on ladies who are tall or with a longer torso , imo, was also a turnoff. Most of the hosts taller than five 7 had on super long tops underneath it. It didn't look good.

I think it will go to "as is" soon.

Not to be too critical, but Jayne looked like a clown in that get-up! {#emotions_dlg.scared}

I didn't see the Isaac show, but did view a video to see the green top that Shawn was wearing. Sorry, but I did not think that was a fashion forward or good look either.

LOL ITA Magic--Jayne looked like she had her dear daughter's shrunken jacket on. She most definitely needs some length. I didn't think Shawn looked good in the TSV either, and she looks good in most items.

Re: ISAAC MIZRAHI TSV DID NOT DO TOO WELL….

I feel really good that I'm getting off "easy" these days. Joining WW has curbed my need for $50 clothing of any kind. I'm more in a mode of there are so many deals out there that spending $50 for anything lately is not cutting it.

I bought 1 pair of Easy Spirit 360 shoes, 1 Vince Camuto sweatshirt, 3 sweatshirts, 1 American Vintage top all for $56 from the Bon Ton Website. Yes I had coupons but I got a whole box load for almost the same price as a IM TSV jacket delivered.

2014 is spending money for value.

13,000 selling is not a lot for a TSV. Definitely not a "hit." I thought with the texture it might look cheap and didn't want to waste $60.+. I've never tried his line and don't care for a lot of his styles especially when he piles on print after print. (sweater with huge flowers and then adds the huge scarf in another big print)
