Anybody know whether "marine blue," "deep marine blue," and "rich blue" have anything in common? These colors are common in many items of active wear, tee shirts, etc, and they all look the same on my screen. I don't care if they match perfectly, but would they go together? Thanks!

Difference companies might call the same color or shade by a different name. Also items take color differently, and show up differently in different lights

I used to work for a company that supplied a part for the automotive companies. I was always amazed at the ""creativity"" of the auto folks in naming simple colors!!!!!!

I think it's almost impossible to buy colors that match perfectly, unless they are from the same company, have the exact same name, and are bought in the same season!
The good news is, these days colors don't have to match to be worn together. in fact, it looks more interesting if they don't match.
You can wear a light or medium blue item (a top) with a dark blue item (bottom), or the reverse. They are in the same family, but not intended to match.
Or wear your blues with white, khaki, black, etc.
