I need an evening gown. It could be cocktail but it has to be dressy. I am attending a very special birthday of a hugely beloved friend in a very grand venue....not a restaurant....a museum!!!

I am 5'11", hour glass shaped and a 10/12 depending on the designer...I look great in empire waists or A lines. Birthday is in November on the east coast. I like color but I don't mind black and I would prefer sleeves, 3/4 or other wise because of the season and I am 51 years old. I don't mind a plunging neckline.

I have looked at every gown at Nordstrom's website and Neiman Marcus's website. I love a Tadeshi Shoji gown...it's the criss cross black over nude gown for $450 and I'm tempted.

My price point is up to $800. Less would be better because I could get cooler shoes...lol.
