I'm So Sick of Koolaburra. What Has Happened To Lamo Boots?

QVC seems to be pushing "The" name that rings a bell to some people as expensive. UGG makes boots, I get it. I can buy them if I want but don't. I have always loved the Lamo boots the Q used to sell. I have them in a few colors and styles. They are waterproof and very nicely made. And I know the size I am in this brand. I found them to be great and the price was reasonable for such a great product. Koolaburra by UGG is just a knock off product and not great. Won't be buying any of there higher priced boots with less quality than Lamo IMO. Where else are Lamo boots sold? Anyone know? Thanks

I tried Lamo boots once. They just weren't comfortable for me. I have weird hard-to-fit feet though.

I keep getting 20% off coupons from Ugg. I wait for their sales and then use the coupons unless their own promo code is better.

I'm still wearing the couple pair of Uggs I bought 7 years ago and they look like new. I just replace the insoles each year. So it boils down to about $40 a year if you include the cost of the boots and insoles. There aren't many quality boots out there for $40.

There are different brands for different tastes.

I buy Ugg, Koolaburra, and Bearpaw.  They each serve different purposes for me and are all great on my feet.

I think QVC owns Koolabura by UGG.

@White Picket Fence 💯 agree with you. I have one pair of Ugg boots, and not interested in buying any Koolaburra. On the other hand, I have a pair of Lamo I love, my second pair I've owned. I love that brand and so reasonable...I know my size, the quality for the price (though probably Q would be raising the price now if they brought them back)...if I weren't buying Uggs, it's the Lamo I'd want, not the Koolaburra. Bring back Lamo, QVC!

I just got a pair of Birkenstock boots @ Norstroms.  Love them.  Lots of support.

In spite of what they say Koolaburra really is inferior to Uggs.

Actually Ugg owns Koolabura.  Koolabura has been around way before coming to QVC. My sister had a handful of pairs back in the early 90's

@White Picket Fence   You can get Bearpaw boots at HSN which are similar to Lamo and are treated to be permanently water resistant.  They come in pretty colors and interesting styles at a similar price point.  They also have a shearling footbed and are lined with a shearling/synthetic product making then very warm.  I like them better than Lamo.

Koolaburra  products seem to be about the same quality as Cuddl Duds.  No way do they resemble Uggs.
