Re: How do you Line Dry clothes?

Yes, but inside the house.  I have one of those rack things.  I usually put those types of clothes in the dryer on delicate for a few minutes and then put on the rack to finish drying.  Putting in dryer first for a few minutes seems to help with the wrinkles.

Yes--anything with spandex in it--but have been drying those clothes in my dryer for a few minutes on low/med heat----turns out really nice. And getting the tops a little dryer saves the funky shoulder bumps and the growing, things do when they are wet, from being hung up whie really wet.

I used to have one of those foldable drying racks, but usually I either hang it on a hanger or hang it over the shower curtain rod in the bathroom. I will occasionally tumble dry on low.

I use a folding dryer from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

We have VERY wide major doorways.  I hang a few items on hangers on each side of the doorways we don't use a lot, like the foyer.  They're dry by morning, and the house is back to normal.

Really nice, sturdy, Amish made in USA folding drying racks are available at Lehman's. They have a website.

They have various sizes, the rods are covered with plastic so you don't stain clothing with wood rods. Very well balanced and sturdy.

Even though I have clotheslines I have one of these in the laundry room as well.

That sounds like a good compromise.
