If your face and neck get too thin or gaunt, that in itself is aging.
Interesting you should bring that up, @feline groovy
I recall reading a statement by some socialite in a fashion magazine of, gosh, it must have been 20 or more years ago that she had reached the point where she had to decide whether to make sure her face or her behind looked better - meaning, of course, that she could get thinner but then her face would be gaunt.
Yeppers...
And I know that I - and probably you - would feel better if our behinds weren't too skinny, especially since it's more comfortable when sitting on a concrete bench and other ouchy stuff.
But if you're extremely pear-shaped like I am, it's kinda nice if your tush isn't falling down towards the back of your knees.

Well, now. We must consider balance (both so we don't topple over as well as being aesthetically balanced). From one pear-shape to another!

~ It IS possible for a natural blonde to have dark brows and lashes. I was one,
right up to the time I began coloring to cover my gray. (Now I'm still a blonde
with dark lashes and brows; it's just no longer natural.)
~ You CAN choose to cover upper arms with certain sleeves, as not every
sleeve will necessarily jiggle. Shop wisely.
~ In some cases, all the exercise in the world will not tone upper arms.
~ It is possible to age without turning gray. (Well, if dying at age 82 w/ no gray
counts.)
~ A good colorist can return one's hair to its natural - or any chosen color -
without having an artificial look.
To be perfectly honest , I think you are really only fooling yourself.
To be perfectly honest, she's 100% CORRECT on ALL points.
However, she forgot to mention that gray hair ages women 10 or more years.
It does for many women, but not all women.
That's why I always try not to generalize or make a broad statement about anything.
GOOD FOR YOU. MY OPINION STANDS.

tHAT IS VERY TRUE, I have seen some women and men who actualyl look gaunt because they are so thin, so my motto is a Happy Medium!

Love this. I asked my 85 year old Mom what keeps her so young. She said:
Smile and stand up straight!
Yoga at the Senior Center 3x per week!
Be young at heart and embrace a new trend every now and then.
Walk the dog!
Have a beer when it's really hot out!
All good advice! She makes me smile!

Jacie, your mother sounds like a very cool lady. Very good advice!
I own this book and the tips are very good. Like anything else, take what works for you and forget the rest.
