I have my eye on a pair of Ryka boots. A number of years back I ordered shoes in my usual size and they were too tight. I ended up returning them. Do you think Rykas run true to size or do they run small?

When Q first started selling Ryka I ordered my regular size 8. Now I have to order an 8 1/2. Have not ordered any Ryka in a while.

How do Ryka shoes run?

Usually with feet inside them and forward motion.

I found the athletic shoes to be short and wide.

I always have to laugh when I read about Rykas.  I remember my mother ordering a pair from QVC.  When she got them, they were two different sizes!

The lace-up shoes run short. I always order up a size.

I purchase mine in the same shoe size I wear in any and all shoes. The fit is excellent!

I usually wear a size 61/2 , sometimes a 6 depending on the shoe. I'll go with the 61/2.

McDuff, you beat me to it!

I like yours better, though.

I get such a great fit with Rykas that I don't even look at other brands of athletic shoes anymore.  I wear a 7.5 in most footwear and RYka's regular width 7.5 fits me perfectly.  The fit is extremely supportive (I have knee, foot and back issues), yet feels as comfortable on me as slippers.  I also have Ryka boots and slip-on shoe style which fit me as well as their athletic shoes.
