It helps me when they give their sizes. If they say Medium and I can see where their pants are digging into their stomach creating a roll, I size up.

I don’t understand what the reason is to focus on the size of clothing the hosts wear. The models are there to model the clothing. The hosts are there to provide information. Some of the hosts like to wear their clothing too tight and small. I would check the garment measurements and reviews about the clothing.
ITA ... it's how the garment fits on the MODELS.
What sizes the hosts are wearing are hit or miss in most cases.

The only time modeling the clothes helps me in deciding, is if the crotch area is bagging on the pants shown or the top hits at a length I don't care for.

Shawn was modeling a Martha Stuart utility jacket. Martha asked what size she was
wearing. Shawn replied an XS. Martha told her to put on a small ( which Shawn did immediately) and Martha said a utility jacket should never be worn tighty.
Im petite in hight and weight. I wear XXS or XS in many items as Q sizing can often run very large.
@ellaphant Kim looks like she is a size larger than she claims. She lost a lot of weight a while ago but put a lot back on recently. Some of her tops look too tight in my opinion.
Yrs, she did lose weight. And agree most tops are too tight. Saw her I guess yesterday -who can remember- and her sweater was much too tight. Whjhhyyy???

well QVChas vanity sizing, so if they say small, they probably in the real world a medium. Q runs at least one size large and in certain brands even roomier. each brand is different. Also, those close up cameras, angles and tv as such adds at lest 7-12 lbs, and that's a fact. I am literally shocked how much smaller people are in person after seeing them on tv...and shorter as well sometimes. Why does it bother people about sizes. You ought to know your size. I shopped QVS from 1987-2003, bought boat loads of clothes. Never once did I go by a host or models size. I did notice length though. I knew my size, and it worked. When Q sizes changed about , It was a ****** shoot. That's when I bought less and less til none. The sizing could be so off

Some of the hosts, I think, put on a size that is too small, just so they can say that is their size, when it is painfully obvious that they should size up. When the pants are stretched tight across the butt and the pockets stick out, or the jacket is pulled in at the waist causing it to wrinkle - then the clothes are too tight. But nothing it going to change there - apparently their egos are more important and the customers just have to deal with it.
What we don't know is how the stylists pull clothing that is going to be in a TV presentation.
If the jacket available for a size Medium host is a Small, and that's what they put on, I'm sure they'll say they are IN a small.
It's often rather obvious when a host is wearing the wrong size for them.
@Tinkrbl44 you are so right tink! The person ordering the sizes for models, hosts and viewing may not get them in correct sizes. Most of QVC clothing in warehouse is in bins with item number and color in front. Marvin from QVC told me that!!! Lol. Set dresser probably calls warehouse ahead, and stylist or set dresser gets item in different size or color at times. They try to make it work. I know everywhere whether it's nordies, macys, or catalogue. I mostly take medium in pants, dress or jacket. I did make a purchase of clothing after years of not buying their clothes. I ordered ME by Jenny Garth. I sent back pants twice. I Wound up with a 6. In her pants. my granddaughter who is 15 lbs lighter than I wears a store 4-6. I got a small in ME top. I haven't worn a small since 1976.

Not mean spirited...just showing the dishonesty of stating sizes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

How exactly do you know what the host's actual "true" size is? Be honest now .........

@ellaphant I wish I would have seen that! Good for Martha.
