@september, I never posted here before today.  I'm simply stating my opnion .

@Wendy118 I understand.  My opinion is just different than yours.

I don't think the hosts try to be unprofessional.   What they do or don't do, is dictated to them by the higher-ups.

@september   Regardless, our perception of the situation is reality and QVC needs to recognize that we don't like it and put an end to it.

@Kachina624 that is likely true for customers who watch the live presentations.  I don't, and wouldn't know this took place, if I didn't read about it here.

I still wouldn't care, if I saw it take place live.  I'd prefer this, to other selling tactics that go on. Such as " this is what everyone in wearing in the Hamptons!"

@september   You might change your attitude if the item was selling out, you badly wanted it, and were in competition with a host to buy it.

It's a sales ploy (and a stupid one at that). Hosts don't really order most of the time.

If the host is actually purchasing on air, it just goes to show that they don't have a clue as to the line up of the show they are presenting or haven't done any product homework.

If they did, they would order before they came on set.

Please just present the items with product info.  If you haven't done any preshow prep, then just read the blue card.  I don't care how many you own or what you are going to buy.  I don't care how many thousands are left in blue.

Oh, and please don't spend 20 minutes on one item.

@Kachina624 It surprises me that you feel this strongly about it.  As many as they sell?  Unless the host is ordering 300 it's not making any difference if they really are ordering--which is highly unlikely don't you think?

Windy, you are so right.  It isn't just one host , so mandy do it.  I'm sure it is to further sales so we look like them!

@Sooner   It's the perception of the customer that matters and the perception is that the host is competition.

Geez,you'll argue about anything.
