The taxman cometh.   Actually, we have until Tuesday, I'm told, to get them done, but ...  so as not to be seen as a procrastinator, I'm devoting today to doing ours.

I found an aran-knit cotton sweater in two colors on final sale at Macy's ... I like that they can be worn through spring and beyond on cool days ... love, these:

I've been worried about you ... so glad to see you, too!  Hope you're okay ... what's new and exciting?  

I received my covid booster last week and it knocked me for a loop ... add to that I have a rotator cuff injury to my right arm and will be going to physical therapy for lord knows how long.

Here's the dress ... not sure I'm going to keep it when it arrives, though ... having second thoughts on the material ... rayon/spandex.   I thought it was a cotton blend.

Good Saturday morning! The sun is finally shining here, although I can't complain about the much needed rain. Yesterday was the first spring rain we've had this year, a nice warm sprinkle. I'm already in trouble with AMS this morning. I love Leah's outfit. I've never bought IM clothes so am not sure about sizing but I really like that blouse. Not sure about the linen/viscose blend; maybe by the time I finally decide, my color will be sold out. Enjoy your day, whatever you do.

Good Morning @SoX  and @LTT1  (long time no see)

The weather has been fantastic this week and I've been working in the backyard instead of letting my fingers do the walking and shopping.  When I had all of the trees and shrubs removed along the back fence in January I paid for stump grinding.  Well, there were many trees and shrubs and lots of what I call stump grinding waste left behind.  Perhaps I should have addressed the mess right after it was created however it was the middle of January and cold outside.

The stump grinding waste really hardened up after repeated exposure to rain and snow so I've been raking layer by layer all week and bagging the waste for weekly pick up.  Because of the weight of the material (even dry) I can't fill each yard waste bag as much as I would like and I put 6 bags out two weeks ago, 8 bags out this past Tuesday and I think I'm up to 12 more bags in the garage.  I wish I could say it was done.  I have more to pick up today and then I expect to fine tune the ground next week.

Privacy fence installation will commence on May 1st.  I am sore and I ache but I tell myself it will be worth it.  I was never crazy about mulch because it draws ants around here.  After all of the raking and hauling I've done this week if I never see anything resembling mulch for the rest of the my it will still be too soon.
