Oh, @Shanus  ... so very sorry.  This is one big headache ... I've been there.   

Don't forget to check for your Social Security card, as well.  When I reapplied for a new one after mine went missing, I was informed that someone used my number in another state as identification to buy a new car!

I have been studying about reinforcing my "boundaries". 
@Bird mama  When you say you don't have to "GO THERE" with the fence guy, I hear you!

I pride myself on standing up for myself WHEN NECESSARY. However, after doing a "deep dive" into my personal relationships, I found out which boundaries I was letting slip due to the simple fact of HATING confrontation. But then with today's climate in society...

So, here's an example:

Yesterday I went to sit e/grandson very early to help him onto the school bus. (So cute 🥰)

Then I got texts from both DD and DSIL ... could I stay a bit longer? (New carpet guys were arriving). Note: this was not in the "plan".

Enforcing boundary: I replied back..."I am able to stay 10 more minutes".

After the fact they apologized. 
Outcome: my time is valuable.

To @Bird mama's point:

the carpet guys left to re-schedule b/c the "kids" left too many little objects (clutter) out and they only agreed to move the large furniture items.

Also, I used to think the people in the eastern countries that cut and sew objects could probably measure very well. Now I'm just not believing that.
