I was looking at A287114 a Halston top on lunchtime "specials."

The model has her arms very close to her sides and in the video, the model also does this, never moving them (except the end shot but still not being able to see the side). So, I deduce that there will be a complaint that the armholes are too big.

Sure enough, a lot of the reviews mentioned this.

Another reason why it is hard to trust the sizes on QVC fashions and another good reason to read reviews, and also why I just really like to try things on in a store.

I rarely try something now and only after much contemplation and reading lots of reviews.

Then with shipping I might just say oh forget it, I'll skip it and find something similar in a store where I won't have to return.

I don't remember it used to be this way, for me anyway. I used to have confidence in ordering, but then prices were also much more reasonable.

I buy a lot of Susan Graver and Denim and Co.  Tanks just do not fit me.  If it fits right across the bust, the arm holes are too big and gap open.  If the armholes are right, then it is too tight across the bust.  I guess getting a tank with bust darts might be the solution, but I hate bust darts.  It looks so "old lady" to me and my breast are never as high as the darts.

I live in a warm climate, but never wear tank tops, and that is okay with me.  I understand that tank tops would be the hardest item for a designer to get to fit.

I too have noticed that the models often keep their arms down when showing tank tops, especially the larger models.

I've noticed that also.  Once top on hanger appeared to have large arm/shoulder opening - so I watched Kate on a close up - she forgot for an instant and then slammed her arm next to body.  Ahhhh   I thought so.
