Help! Need Job Interview Outfit(s)

OK, I'll admit it - I'm a Chanel suit kinda gal. Natural-looking makeup (no Shawn zinc-oxide white lipstick), simple pearls (not like a poledancer wears), classic Coach handbags, small gold hoop earrings, that's me.

I've been retired for 7 yrs and got rid of all my corporate "Chanel suit" stuff, and now wear just black dress slacks and a blouse or sweater to church each week. Simple, very budget-friendly, works for me.

But now, I'm applying for office jobs again, and am hoping to not look like Jane Fonda in "9 to 5" (check it out on YouTube if you're a young pup here), but don't want to look like I'm trying to dress as a 20-y/o, either.

Chico's seems to have only resort wear or too casual of stuff, IMHO.

I'm a Kohl's fanatic, and will head there today for Dana Buchanan, etc. to see what they have.

Any other suggestions on where to go for a couple of really nice outfits? TIA
