Hard-To-Find Winter Robe Found

What I wanted:

-Ankle length

-Full zipper (not step-in)

-Warm but not heavy

-Soft fabric

-Pockets

-No hood

What I got:

LOFIR long zipper robe. Walmart $29.

I am 5'6". You'll be OK with length if you are over 5'4".

Only comes in 3 sizes (M/L/XL) which fit bust 46"-52". BUT runs narrow through the hip so size up.

Beautiful looking robe!  Looks much more expensive.  Too bad it doesn't come in petites.

Great purchase!

And you got all the features you wanted!

I too purchased a "robe" from the Q here last summer.

This one has a hood, which was one of my requirements. It is also lightweight, but soft and warm.

I am surprised at how much I like this, and I use it each time I shower/bathe!

Isn't it so difficult to find a robe with the features we want?

Re: Hard-To-Find Winter Robe Found

@LTT1 @PickyPicky3   I already have three robes that I rarely wear.  I will use them maybe if I'm not feeling well but I actually got a beautiful white robe as a gift from a friend last year since we renovated the primary bath and she gave me spa like gifts....one of them was the plush white robe.  I should make an effort to wear it.

I mostly tend to wear sweats or PJ pants when lounging around the house.  If it's chilly I will wear on of my many fleece like Cuddle Duds or Anybody cardigans.  To me they are for around the house and keep me warm.  I don't wear them out.

@LTT1  I like that short robe!  Looks very cute & comfortable!

Re: Hard-To-Find Winter Robe Found

I bought this on ebay (it's a Coldwater Creek robe), ankle length, cotton blend, brand new with tags:

Cold Water Creek Women’s Sleep Wear Lounger Medium Washed Black With Flowers

It's soft and warm, but I don't purchase from CC, the company was sold and it's not the same.

However, some of their line is available on ebay and such outlets, at a really great discount.

@Ronettes I love Ebay!  I have gotten some really good deals from there this year.  I don't know why I didn't bother much in the past but I have found a lot of nice things there brand new that is sold here for a fraction of the price.

The nice thing is, most vendors will accept returns and I have done so a few times and have gotten a refund.

@LTT1 is that a full, separating zipper?  I would like that except they're sold out of Smalls in the colors I would like.  I don't care for that dark blue one or the teal.

Same here - If I really want something that is expensive, I watch for it on ebay, quite often it will show up in my size, and you're right - at a fraction of the price!

Yes, I have also returned items and gotten a refund. I always ask for precise measurements so I will know if the item will fit correctly to try and avoid returns.

I love ebay for the vintage items as well. Surprisingly I have picked up vintage bedspreads brand new still in the package, for a song!

Re: Hard-To-Find Winter Robe Found

I like it! Especially the full length zipper and light weight.  I so miss Stan Herman chenille robes he had for years.  I lived the winter in them.
