It's not yet the new year here in CA but I have written a lot about this subject in the Dooney & Bourke area under "help I'm in e-bay." That isn't my problem, that is where I started writing. I have a piggback virus attached to my computer. Cutting through all the stuff I wrote, I want it off. Promnet is located in Ukraine, outside of Odessa. They have an English website and amongst many enterprises they have a coupon company that for our suspicious minds, covers the U.S. and it is called GROUPON Your City Guide. I will bet that every person who prints a coupon, I didn't, will have that piggyback virus on your computer. This is NOT a reputible company. I'd love it if you girls can find out more than I. I am going to have to pay some guy a hundred bucks to get it off my computer. I was assured by a Norton person that what I write to you is not infected or I would not be doing this. I want to form a new "Get Rid of Promnet" brigade. My techie son on Christmas Day said that he couldn't delete it because it got into my computer and was now pervasive. Great news, right? I'm taking my hard drive in to get wiped but how do I stop this from happening again? I have all kinds of security on my computer. I swear I will never watch UTube againbut even if it came from UTube which my granddaughter sends to me (and I don't watch) I'm not at all sure that is where this very insidious virus came from. I know some of you gals are really techies and if you are not, where should I send this message. Happy New Year to all of you. Also...HELP!!!!!
