For those interested, Christian Siriano has a dress as HSN Today Special on 8/10. 

I'm sorry I don't have a photo.  It's a wrap-style dress with diagonal ruffle and mesh sleeves.  Petite and regular lengths.

Just tuned in to watch the Today's Special and wonder who the heck is styling the models.  The dress is so pretty, but adding the faux leather jacket and boots, and goofy hat just doesn't make me want to purchase.

The dress is pretty. If your dress game is lacking and you don't mind a full wrap (it has a snap on the surplice to prevent gaping at the top), at $60 this may be a decent purchase.  I don't care for the jacket they are coordinating with it. 

The question I would ask the HSN marketing and sales team is why would they have another dress as a TS a couple of weeks after they had one from Iman as a TS.  I know, As a straight style with a matching topper, Iman's was a different look, but it still seems odd to have two print dresses as the TS so close together.  It's probably a case of follow the money and dresses must sell well for them.

The dress they featured that I liked best of the recent new dress offerings was the one in Debbie Denman x Curation collection.

It seems like dresses with prints are big this year, even for fall. It reminds me a lot of Simplicity pattern 8637. I know there is nothing new in the fashion world, but it is so much like that pattern. I don’t know how to post a picture, otherwise I would. But, you can Google simplicity 8637 and see pictures.

On a recent Jason Wu thread there was a discussion on how selling clothes on shopping channels was the kiss of death for a designer. 

It's obvious Christian Siriano doesn't think so.  He has plenty of celebrity customers but was eager to jump into the mass market and enthusiastically participates.

I like this dress but would never wear that jacket either with it or even with something else.  Not my style.

I like the dress -- without the flounce. Might try it anyhow.

Just caught a look at the "faux patent" jacket in blue and to me it looks plastic.
