Their forum used to be pretty good, then they shut it down. It's been back up for a while, but it's still really slow. I like shopping at HSN far more than QVC, BUT, this forum is much much more interesting! I WILL say in defense of HSN's forums, that the few times I've posted lately and had questions, their MODERATOR was very responsive and informative.

I'm glad that we have more than one place to choose from. Due to problems I had with ShopNBC, I don't shop that channel any more, but it's nice to have choices between QVC and HSN. Neither are perfect, and they take turns at who gets more of my $$. HSN used to have active bulletin boards, but they closed theirs down and when it came back, the traffic never picked back up. They closed Q's boards down as well, but Q still gets a lot more traffic than HSN.

I really don't get why anyone would have a problem with HSN or any other shopping experience being mentioned here. I have learned a LOT about things outside of the QVC universe on this forum and I'm happy I did! People are funny . . .

I can't figure out the HSN forum. Never have been able to do it. Everything I order from HSN takes days to get to me.

I recently ordered Tony Little stuff (You'd think I'd have learned) and had to send it back. It didn't have a return label.

I called HSN they said, "That comes from Tony's company. You have to make our own return label and send it back to him and pay for it".

I did that. I will be very, very careful from now on. That has happened with other items.

HSN stuff doesn't come from them it comes from all over and it takes forever to get a refund. I won't bore you about how the process works (had it explained to me).

I am saying I am careful what I order.

at least HSN host don't do the ""Mwah Mwah"" air kissing with vendors like qvc hosts.

I actually go back & forth from QVC to HSN. I like some products from QVC and some from HSN. Having said that, I buy a lot less than I use to from both since I discovered SHOPNBC (nowSHOPHQ). Prices are much better, they have value pays and their quality is good.

I agree she is the worst. Just seems mean to me. Between her and Shanon Smith they make me turn the channel.

But I have been buying alot more lately from HSN than QVC due to pricing and shipping costs.

I like alot of the clothes they have too. Hal Rubenstein, Hot in Hollywood are two of my favorites.

So I just track specific vendors/items to see new items, and then wait for clearance pricing. The clearance events are good & you can definitely score a great buy, otherwise, it's junk/quality issues.

CTG, I like your selection of HSN designers. Check out Nikki by Nikki Poulos there. I bought some beautiful dresses (knee-length and maxi) from her line this summer and they are outstanding. Sizing can vary a bit so I check garment measurements there just like I do at the Q.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, but I do always get that some posters on here have to put down QVC, and say the most goofiest things! Hey I've got news for you all BOTH are shopping channels and BOTH are in it to make money! I watch both. I watch HSN for Jewelry and some clothing, and I do love a Trish McEvoy fragrance, and some of her makeup. I watch QVC for makeup for sure, they have a better selection of better brands, and usually handbags. It depends what I am in the mood for, I do not play favorites, I buy from which ever channel is offering what I want. One thing I will say about HSN, I absolutely can't stand Joy Magano! OY she irks me, so if she is on then I am no where to be found near that channel. I find the hosts about the same on both channels. Okay that's it. Sorry had to vent.
