Based on her words she is "not a pant person", "not a handbag person", "not a foundation person", "not lace person", etc. etc. Yet, she loves every product "she is NOT".....and today she "revealed a secret of her bad feet" - wedges and 7 layers of Isaac's shoes....umm...really?? I'm pretty sure she wore other high heel shoes as well.....On 3/16/2015 kivah said:My point is that if she's not truthful with her audience, why should we believe anything she says about the products she's selling. Why does it matter what Shawn wears? Whatever she's selling, she uses or wears.
I thought it was funny when she said her secret for wearing high heels with her bad feet was wearing wedges but the high heels she had on during most of the show were not wedges.

Well, I watched part of it on mute and then remembered "Southern Charm" was on (guilty pleasure), so switched. I think it's fine if QVC is trying for a younger audience. I would not care for Pat and Jayne -- they already have their show. Sandra would be ok but she is not very lively. Do wish they would not show beauty products. Shawn is a nice change from LaLisa; it remains to be seen how successful she is.

Umm, ahhh, (insert made up word here). Don't think it's worth my time to watch on Monday nights any longer. One can't speak, the other has too limited vocabulary to express herself. That line up is a real insult to any viewer! The Q must not even want to try to make a sale!

Near as I can tell, it's only recently that she's started to wear dresses. For the longest time she only wore leggings with layers of logo and boots. She always mentions that she's into comfort clothing. What is anybody supposed to believe?I do not believe a word she says. Her selling tactics are shifty.
Funny, I find ALL the hosts are dishonest,,,,the skin care pitches and claims are out and out false.
I don't watch PMS, but QVC will never capture a younger audience. Inventory like B Mackie, LDO, D&C, S Graver and Quacker is totally for older ladies who want to hide their figures. Everything is stretch and liquid knit.

If the forum is a sample of the rest of the viewers, many do not watch her. I have to wonder, I don't remember people turning off the TV on Lisa. They might not have liked her, but they still watched. It makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes. I bet some of the older and experienced hosts are miffed. Don't know for sure, but do wonder....I don't want to sound mean.....but isn't she the only female host without any children after LR left?? Perhaps, that's why she is able to work more often comparing to other hosts? Just my guess.....

And a year ago (before I got "addicted" to Q) I browsed the channels and thought it was weird to buy stuff on TV..... Now I actually appreciate the easy pay and I mostly buy handbags and jewelry, so I'd agree that younger generation wouldn't buy clothes from Q. That being said, I like some outerwear by IM and DB. But most of the 100% polyester clothes are way overpriced. On 3/16/2015 QMaven said:On 3/16/2015 K9buddy said: I just heard Shawn say that she doesn't wear pants or jeans or skirts but mostly wears dresses. Perhaps val-speak is supposed to endear viewers to buy something! The valley girl dialect seems silly for someone who is supposed to be a grown-up; an adult. But there's other hosts on other shopping channels who do this too, and yes it's annoying to hear "Right, right?" or "I love it!" and "What if I told you....." over and over again.
My eyes glaze over whenever these kinds of hosts are on air or whenever they are speaking during a videoclip presentation.
