Can the George Simonton customers tell me if his sizing runs true to size as far as blouses? I have not ordered anything of this brand and would like to. Comments appreciated.

Thanks

Which blouse are you considering?

Others may have a different opinion, but although George puts shaping seams and cuts his clothes so that they don't look baggy and boxy, his items all tend to be generously full cut. Of course my opinion of generously cut is based on my body type. SOmeone else who has a different shape may say his cuts are ideal.

It's possible that the blouse you are interested in will fit you beautifully.

I agree with Trix, but she is right...that is how they fit on me!

I take a small in the real world and XS in George Simonton clothes.

I think "generously cut" is an accurate description. You don't need to size up on any of his clothes, including pants. Check the additional sizing chart below the description. It really helps. Love, love, love George! The quintessential professional!!!!

I think it depends on the description of the clothing. If it says fitted I usually go with my regular size, particularly in tops as I'm a bit busty with a belly.... If it's a regular or fuller cut, I generally go a size down, particularly if it's bottoms - a bit of stretch in milky knit goes a long way.
