It's ridiculous that the shirts that Winamac1 posted went up in price. I thought the dip dyed skirt was actually on clearance - the top should be as well. These are over a year old! You'd have to be crazy to buy that tunic at over $100 especially when they show the QVC price as $78 in the video for it! [edited to say that tunic is almost TWO YEARS OLD. Reviews start in April 2013!!]

So, I actually just posted a question on the Q&A for some items (yes, I don't have much of a life and thought I would be a stinker tonight - if they even post them) and then it occurred to me!!

We're paying for the extra storage charges for them warehousing the items for so long! I mean, they've only supposedly made 300 of those $500, now $700, purses. They couldn't sell that small amount over a year or more? They've also been taking up space that Dooney or Tignanello could be using. So, we're paying for both the storage charges and the lost sales.

I noticed the increase with the new Stirrup Hobo...it's in my Wish List and I couldn't believe my eyes as to how much it had been increased...and even worse, it was still listed at a Feature Price....that is pretty sneaky and misleading in my opinion.

I dont get why anyone would buy any GILI product now or when it started with Lisa Robertson supposedly designing - I mean copying & tweaking the design of some godly outrageous, over priced designer bag, dress, jacket or whatever she owned. They are not original designs.

I still am in shock that one shirt went up $27, and it's 2 years old!! HSN would have clearanced it out after 6 months. QVC RAISES prices on old merchandise. It's ludicrous.

You did mention that it was a limited edition, but let's let that sink in. A limited edition of 300 from a year ago. As far as I'm concerned, they are telling you that the bags have been sitting around for over a year. And they just increased them $175. It's not that the underlying supplies have increased during new manufacturing. They said no more are being made.

Just listened to end of Lisa's video, where she said it was "last call". So, are these returns? I guess many could be from people cancelling their orders after the show - at least, I would hope so!!

I am never on these forums, but I just had to come check out and see if anybody was talking about these crazy prices. I am watching a GILI show right now and the shoes are all Between $150-$200! And then they are showing a bag for $699! Come on, people, this is QVC! I know this was a higher end line, which I liked. I liked that it was fashion forward, but I'm not paying these crazy prices! Lisa was far more reasonable when she was with the line.
