@NYCLatinaMe   That will require the smelling salts for me just to hear the price aloud.

This is a lot of money for a fruity novelty sweatshirt Smiley Wink! If it were $25 I'd buy it to wear around the house while doing chores or watching TV, but I wouldn't pay $86 for it.

$86 is not what I would call a good deal.  Maybe 39.99.  But I rarely wear sweatshirts anyway.  If I wear fleece, I prefer tunic style.

To me it isn't about the price but how much wear I would get out of it, and does it fill a place in my life.

It can be cheap dollar wise but costly if it is something you don't need or don't love to wear.   It takes up resources and space.  If you only bought what you will love, look and feel good in, and wear a lot, it would be a bargain at a much higher price.

I agree with you.  If you are going to wear a clothing item many times it is a good investment.  I saw the picture of the fruity sweatshirt and it doesn't look like a typical sweatshirt.  It looks like it is better made than the usual sweatshirt.

This brand reminds me of Quacker Factory.  The clothing styles are more modern, but the kitschy embroidery and embellishments mimic QF.

And where would you wear it?  Too much money just for the supermarket, errands.  Not what I would wear to go "out".

Boutique worthy. Not Wal-Mart or Target.

You do realize Target sells many brands of sweatshirts that are not cheap. You might want to take a look.  They sell Timberland, Dickies and Aventura to name a few.
