Exactly.  That's the whole point.  Some people have a problem with the age difference, and some don't.  The age difference is not the issue in this instance, though..  What she did was wrong, plain and simple.  Far fewer people would be excusing it if the teacher had been male and the student female.  It's wrong either way!
