Anyone else having a problem with Kim Gravel's Flexibelle jeans coming apart around the seams? It's not a rip or a tear, they are splitting around the seams at the pockets, back seam and front fly area. This has happened with at least 4 different pairs and styles of the flexibelle fabric jeans I have. Since it's not tearing at the seam, it is very hard to sew without ruining the line of the jeans. Is this just poor material?

Re: Flexibelle Jeans Splitting

@mnrlc I don't have experience with Flexibell per se...

But a few years ago I bought some of Kim's shorts...two in twill that I love and have bought more after that. But one was in denim and I hated the denim used for those shorts. Stretched out immediately, bagged, then frayed at the bottom...those got sent back. Too many great brands of jeans out there...I'm not a "Flexibell" fan.

Maybe they're too small?

@mnrlc No I haven't. I own 3 pairs I believe and no seams splitting. I have found I need to buy the smaller size since they stretch a bit during wearing.

They are one of my favorite brand of jeans.

Hahaha, that would sure be on me! Waist and hip area fit fine, as do her jeans in other fabrics.

@mnrlc.  I don't know if I have Flexibelles but I haven't had your problem.  Mine get baggy after a few hours of wear, so much so, they won't stay up.  I quit buying "Belle" jeans.

@Kachina624   Same for me.  Every pair of Kim's jeans that are pull up that I have tried all tend to start falling down.  It's not a good look when the rear gets baggy and the crotch is a few inches lower than it should be!

@haddon9.  Not to mention that constantly hiking  up one's pants is not a suave, ladylike action.

@Kachina624 Agreed!  it's very frustrating when out constantly tugging at the pants.  I have given up on her jeans!
