Re: Five Pocket Button Front Flare Leg ๐Ÿ‘–

Love flares, but no button fly!  I don't want anything on my belly.

If you look at my Friday outfit it's the black version of these!

These look great (on her!)

If I were to try these, probably there would be too much "shape" to the legs since I'm short.

The way these fit the model is without any extra fabric under the derriรจre!

Most of my jeans do not fit so well at the top of the legs in back.  When I purchased a pair of jeans (with a chewed hem) from Loft last summer, the sales associates who are younger helped me. I think that pair fits the best in back.

Since they are very short, I don't wear them in winter.

My favorites right now are from Just Black jeans. I own both blue and black. They are classified as straight leg. My feeling is that they make my "backside" look good!

Those jeans are really cute but aren't they too short with the boots?  Is that how people are wearing them now?  I wouldn't know as I never get out of the house these days --- LOL! When I wore this type of leg, I always wanted them longer to cover the boot or shoe more.  Even when I was very thin and did have some jeans that buttoned, I didn't care for them.  I always preferred zippered ones.

Picture #1 -- aren't those what we used to call "sailor jeans" back in the 70's?  Long button fly, big stitched-down pockets, and flare bottoms with big seams?   I had a pair like that a few decades ago.  Loved them then, but not a fan of flares now.  I like the pockets and button fly, tho.

I do love that sweater.  Looks kind of like snake scales.

Those boots....?  No way.

Our high school allowed girls to wear jeans so I saw that look in the 1970's all the time. Flare legs were favorites of mine.

Ah ... it was difficult to tell from that photo. I did notice, though, that the Monday photo looks like the dark blue ones? I could see the buttons more easily in that one.

@jonbon

Yeah. The buttons are black on the black ones so really hard to see especially in a picture.

I've always liked the look of a button fly.
