My daughter has a wedding to go to next month so my granddaughter ,she and I went to the mall to look for a dress yesterday.   Every dress she tried on looked too tight to me but granddaughter thought looked great. I thought she needed a larger size.  My granddaughter is mid twenties. It was funny the way we saw things. Daughter bought a pretty sparkly black dress that I thought was a little snug but looked nice. In the end everyone was happy with the choice.

I can believe that.

The fashion world and ages behind us along with Q, have  embraced "shrink wrapped" clothes. Part of this comes from the world of knit.

Likely they won't be able to wear the item very long and will learn to size more correctly when none of their clothes still fit and they constantly have to buy and replace.

Just look at all the TV anchorwomen, female reporters and meteorologists.  The all look like they shop at the Too Tight Knit Store, Inc., all wearing basically the same thing.

@ECBG From what I read here buy and replace is the mantra of the clothing world no matter how it fits.  Just read the posts on here.  It's all about "purging."

@Kachina624  OH!!! That's the name of the store they all get their dresses at. I often wondered as they all seem to shop at the same place.

It's not my style.........I don't have the body for it. The contour/seeing the belly button is what bothers me the most. It's silly and I don't know why.

What fascinated me was watching youtube clips of the Voice when Chapel Hart was on.  The lead singer is chubby and she wore this awful knit dress during the first audition. Subsequent performances looked like she had been styled and more classy.

You can thank Roger Ailes misogynistic practices at FOX for the era of tight.
