Fashion from “To Catch a Thief”

Here are some photos of Grace Kelley in “To Catch a Thief” with Cary Grant. One of my favorite Hitchcock movies. The costumes & scenery are perfect. The actors did a great job with the witty dialogue.

@wilma

Exquisite.  These are truly timeless looks.   Such a great beauty!

Yesterday, I watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and thought that Elizabeth Taylor's outfits were stunning.  Especially her white dress.

Her waist appeared so tiny, it was amazing.

Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor were both so beautiful and stylish.

@wilma   GORGEOUS!!!!  Those gowns are perfection.  So too are the other outfits.  Fitted to perfection.

Do you know who the Designer was?

She was just so perfect looking imo.

Princess Eugenie said her reception dress, designed by Zac Posen, was based on Grace Kelly in To Catch A Thief.

Hmmmm, Zac's version looks good from the side photo, but full frontal - errrr - not so much.  Grace Kelley's was elegant - this version - would be a No from me.  The bust area looks vulgar and tawdry to me.  jmo
