I am not exactly sure why this has happened.  It may be that too many workout clothes are being shown.  I see a lot of people walking around looking like they are going to or coming from the gym!!

Did you ever stop to think that the casual at church movement likely started with one or two people dressing down and others picking up the casualness until "everyone", including you, gave up "dressing better" ?

Why not stick to your preferred way of dressing for church and see who you inspire rather than resentfully follow the crowd?

You spent your luncheon gossipping and whinng about how others dress? That's pretty sad. If I had friends who spent time talking about others like that I'd probably ditch the friendship.

You mean Lisa Robertson, the one who wore the same tired old dragging-the-ground jeans day in and day out?!?! That Lisa?? You think her departure single handlely brought down the fashions at Q? That is too funny!!

I'd be wondering what they had to say about me when I'm not around.

I Agree concerning the ... er ... 'Fashions'. Well, I didn't care for LR, but I must admit that she dressed beautifully.

The Fashions nowadays are much too trendy and trashy. I am so tired of Cold Shoulders, Sharkbites, Sharktooth and outrageous Hi-Lows. A Hi- Lo with the back being four or five inches difference is likable, but having the front stop just below the private area and the back flowing around the ankles is nauseating.

 -And then there are the  LEGGINGs.  Leggings are basically unitards pantyhose, tights ... that should be worn Under the clothing, not Instead of the clothing. It is pathetic that women have been brainwashed to parade around in 'Leggings' exposing themselves. Legging show  every part of the body, it is just colored with whatever color of the leggings. 40 and 50 year old women in leggings look insane. Even 20 and 30 year olds look indecent.

The very thin material adds to the terrible modern looks.  The L Brands with the flimsy sharktails look like Rags.

I remember once way back when I was married and had to go to church every Sunday that I forgot my hat.  I had spent too much time dressing my four little girls and we were late.  My husband at the time asked me to put the program leaflet on my head!!  I refused.  He told me I had no respect!!

I dress for comfort. I am clean and my clothes fit. I don't wear dresses, jackets, scarves, and the such because it's way to hot for that stuff, even in winter.  Plus I admit it, I don't want to be bothered doing all that laundry, dry cleaning and ironing that comes with wearing multiple layers of clothes. Shorts, capris and a tee or jeans and a tee or sweatshirt are just fine with me everyday of the year. At my last job the management tried to get us to dress in more than business casual but we rebelled and got our way. I don't see women out here wearing jackets, scarves, layers or dressy clothes even to nicer restaurants, it's just not our style. Thank goodness.

I know a woman who talks incessantly about what others wear and comments on bystanders all the time. It's so boring, petty, and shallow.

While I don't wear furs and pearls, I do like to dress up and especially for church. I don't base my style on anyone else and feel confidant in what I wear. We're all individuals and I really wish that people would realize that fact.

@Iluvhandbags

I was definitely no LR expert, but I did watch PMS fairly frequently .......    yet I don't recall ever seeing her in "dragging the ground jeans" ....  ever.
