I hae been looking at some of the new fall clothing line up and am so extremely disappointed to see so many, tunic lengths. Almost everything it seems! With no petite's. I just cannot understand this except to think that women are buying it thnking they are covering up their butt. I have said it before and will say it forever that when you have something longer than the end of your butt, unless it is very loose, it is going to cup your butt and high light it. Which always looks so tacky.

Also so many tight pants. Which look bad on probably 70% of women.

Yes indeed.  If you carry weight in your mid section, tunics do nothing but accentuate the problem.  I like shorter tops.

I agree 100% with what you said.  I am pear shaped, size 12-14 on the bootom and barely 5 ft 4 in.  Tunics look horrible on me and accentuate my problem are ( hips).  the only women who would look good in tunics are those who are tall and lean.  I have seen plus size gals who wear them and it is not their best look.  My daughter, who is plus size said she wouldnt be caught dead in that look after trying them on and I agree.  On a petite gal, they swallow them up.  mid hip looks the best on most woman unless it is a very full swirly type of bottom than to the hip.  But that is my opinion, so if you disagree that is fine and hope you are happy shopper!   Good day ladies!

My Fall lineup is the same as it's been every other year since the 1960s.

Turtleneck shirts and sweaters / pants / long and short vests / long and short non-turtleneck sweaters / long and short jackets /lots of long and short scarves.

Different fabrics, different colors, different combinations.

I agree.....................QVC is presenting it seems from the few products the hosts have presented as "fall" preview the same old same old but considered "fall"now.......tunics,

bell sleeves, massive prints, snake prints, cargo pants,

zippers everywhere, super casual, asymetrical( really?still?) i am sure they will produce more cold shoulders......ha............etc...which of course as the QVC hosts claim "look good on EVERY  body

shape"...hahaha...............

I am just glad i can hit Macys, Kohls and other mail/online

vendors who have more a variety and choice!!

I checked new arrivals online from an email the Q sent me about their big fall preview days. I didn’t see anything that I wanted.

@kelsey17  Yes, thank goodness for Macy's which is a 10 minute walk from me, and Lord & Taylor's that I order online.  Also Marshall's and TJMaxx.  More variety, better prices.

When I buy clothing that's too long, either tops or pants, I cut them off and hem them.   Very simple and not a major user of time.  Problem solved.

Does anyone remember when first look at fall clothing was a lot of fun and new clothing items were actually presented. Guess those days will have to be a remembrance of the past. Today was a big bore for me! Only reason I purchased two clothing items online was because of tax free weekend in my state.
