I like the colors, and I like horizontal stripes, but I don't want them in a long sweater like this. Plus, the stripes are too wide for me. I prefer a narrow stripe in a top with a solid color cardigan or jacket over it. I also prefer buttons on my cardigans.

One would think closures are necessary for coats, but I don't ever take the time to button a coat and never have. I can hold my arm around me from a parking lot easily.  My buttons sit there as an ornament.

I would certainly behave differently if I lived in a colder state with constant snow. 

NYC girls walk from subway to their jobs and their coats need are different.

@ECBG , not to me. I would be too busy thinking how pretty the sweater itself was rather than sizing up someone's figure flaws. Then again, that's just me.🤷‍♀️

I want my coast or jackets to have closures, cardigans are fine without. I wear cardigans inside a lot, and there is no reason to have a closure on all of them. I prefer many with no buttons.

Not everyone lives in a cold climate , winter where I live is very mild so we don't necessarily need buttons on coats/ jackets,
