After reading Louis's blog and purchasing a few items recently, I FINALLY understand what all the skuttlebutt has been about. I see now that Louis is truly trying to make quality items, at an affordable price. The jewelry is outstanding as well. I read the part in the blog about QVC not wanting to order an item and I suddenly got what all of you ladies have been talking about on these boards forever! My guess is, the margins on Linea (sorry, worked in finance for years) are low compared to other vendors because Louis insists upon quality manufacturing and materials. Forgive me if this has already been said, but the greatest defense is to buy as many items as possible if we want him to stick around as a vendor. I can SO appreciate that somebody in this world, is willing to sacrifice a little $$$ for quality merchandise. I know I'm old school, but I believe in it.
