I watched a little of HSN this morning before I left for work. Someone once said that HSN sold "trashy" clothing. I agree to a degree from what I saw. They were hawking old DG2 stuff. It did look trashy to tell you the truth. But HSN does have nice stuff.

I don't like any of HSN clothing. In my opinion, 90% of their clothing is trashy and cheap looking.

I used to love fashion day, but the vendors have totally changed. I don't like Linea, Mizrahi, Lori Goldstein, Lisa Rinna, or Renee somebody with her clingy clothes. I cant stand Susan Graver. She's on every time I turn QVC on, and I hate watching Lisa Robertson. What happened to QVC fashion? Not everybody has to power dress every day and we don't live in big cities. Denim & Co. is getting so expensive, especially when you add in S&H. Even on clearance it's overpriced, and I can buy nice clothes locally. So, I haven't even watched it today.

Other than that, how's it going? Smile

I didn't watch either . I peeked in from time to time & thought the Bob Macki- coat in oversized houdstooth was a hoot & cute . Liked the carmel & black . Linea was mostly dressy or office type styles & I need casual . The shows are just starting , so maybe future shows will have more of what we're looking for . I do think they need to lower S& H or lower clothing prices , because there are so many great deals around here at real stores ....plus coupons , sale days , etc. one can really save a bundle . However , at the Q , I can only purchase 2 tops for close to $80-$100 after S& H added . And I'm taking about simple casual tops or pants . Can buy twice that much locally for that money .

So far, I think it's been a great fall fashion show. Much better than last year. Only thing is, I have lost a lot of sleep. Afraid I'll miss something I suppose.

I think this is a good Fashion Day - a good mix of all the different designers - no one designer or line dominated and there were quite a lot of new items and several new lines introduced. I've enjoyed watching it.

I agree with you. I was busy working most of the day, but I watched some last night. There have been some new things and a better mix of brands than usual so I don't understand why people are saying nothing is new. I haven't bought anything, but I actually saw a couple things that made me look twice.

I am not excited about anything fall right now. The year is flying by and would like it to slow down some. Winter was long and the summer here has been nice. Not those awful hots days like we always get. I am rather enjoying it and I am a fall person but I can wait.

I have a class reunion tonight and having trouble deciding what to wear. I have it narrowed down to two outfits and have everything ready but have to work today. So after I get off I guess I get ready and see which one moves me. I never have this much trouble deciding but this time I am and not sure why. We will all be dressed differently and always are but I just can't decide.

My friends voted and it is even. Good grief much help they are. I had some help from my husband narrowing it down to these two and then told him you decide which one and he says oh no you don't. What is he afraid of . I think I wore him out on the first round.

As far as fall clothes go - I love fall clothes but have enough to get me started and then some. If I see something that catches my eye then that will be different. I am watching some of the shows but I am recording some for those days nothing else is on that I care to watch. I like to see what they have for the season. I can use a new pair or two of shoes for the office this winter and some of mine got pretty beat up last year.

The D&C leather jacket TSV isn't bad at all. The reason I am not buying is the moto style asymmetrical zipper. I know it's in style, but I just don't like it.

Will someone please explain to me in what way a strip of chiffon sewn along the hem of a tunic is ""amazing"". I've been amazed by a few things during my life but they were significantly more spectacular. The adjectives these people dream up border on the ridiculous.

Not interested in purchasing fall/winter clothing right now! Enjoying the summer. QVC clothing no longer interests me; dated, unstylish, cheap looking {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

You don't like the clothes, decor, hosts, etc., so I take it then that you only post here just to bad mouth QVC. What a boring life you must lead?

I thought it was just sort of blah. I remember when it used to a big deal - an event. It was fun! I always bought at least one new Fall Fashion item from the big show. Now it seems to be spread out over days and times and there are less actual designers and more celebrities instead. Having said all that, I can still see myself buying something....because I love Fall and the styles that come with it. Kiss
