HSN's day is a complete bust IMO. This is the second or third fashion clearance they've had over the course of a month.
Some of the items have been marked down further for today, some have not and have been at the same price for months and months. Actually a couple of seasons now. There is no shopping cart special with the s/h and even though they offer half off subsequent s/h on all items, that starts to add up.
And then there are the pricing games. I was perusing the HSN site last night for a few things and there was a MarlaWynne reversible sweater jacket for $19.95. I wasn't going to order it but the price caught my eye. Today on clearance day, that same sweater jacket is $34.95.
I was sort of hoping CL's crochet dress would have been marked down. No such luck. Oh well, I don't have an immediate occasion to wear it.
This is the second running for that dress. I think the first time around it was marked down somewhat and sold out. It never made it to a deep, deep discount.
I own the original version of this dress from Boston Proper. It's a great dress. Word of advice...size down a size. I was able to do that in the BP dress and I remember when Colleen presented her's, she said to size down.
Thanks for the heads up on sizing, LD. Gotta love that vanity sizing--it soothes my soul!

Are you serious? No new things for Fall Fashion Day 2014..
Why do they do that?
Last year was a bad sign because the Q didn't even spoltlight
Fashion Night Out..I think that was a real bust.

Not interested in purchasing fall/winter clothing right now! Enjoying the summer. QVC clothing no longer interests me; dated, unstylish, cheap looking ![]()

Not cool & their CS is slammed today. 10 min wait to find out what's going on with my order for serena leggings. They charged my card on july 30 and it's just sitting in packaging with no movement, and my invoice says delivery date of aug 28th. CS is clueless about what is going on in the warehouse except to say they have very high demand. Can't cancel my order. Can't tell me for certain when it will ship. So they grant me a 5 dollar kash credit for the inconvenience.I was switching a little bit between HSN and QVC because HSN is having a fashion clearance day. HSN's day is a complete bust IMO. I watched a little of HSN this morning before I left for work. Someone once said that HSN sold ""trashy"" clothing. I agree to a degree from what I saw. They were hawking old DG2 stuff. It did look trashy to tell you the truth. But HSN does have nice stuff.

I have watched today on/off, haven't seen a single item I would purchase (yet).

Those who enjoyed her know and those who didn't get to watch her really don't need to hear this story every time.
I have to agree with you....Angel seems to feel she must bring up Jeanne everytime she is on.....but then Jeanne use to tell the same "stories" when she was on, too...that got boring after a few times hearing it, too...Time to move on Angel...just show the clothes ...don't drag up back history...
I don't think it's a big deal at all, and I suppose they do it to give a little history of the line to new viewers. ALL of the vendors have their little spiels -- Ryka, Orthaheel, Women with Control, etc. (Leilani doesn't say a word about the shoe being presented before she says, "First of all, Ryka is the first athletic shoe company for women . . .").

I did order some items from the Linea line for work. And a beautiful fleece jacket from Bob Mackie. And the white mountain boots in grey a color I needed. I am a happy camper.
