Express shipping question

Hello, Just curious if anyone uses or used the express UPS shipping option? I ordered a couple of skirts this morning and want them before I go out of town next week. According to the estimated delivery date, I should be ok. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with paying for express shipping but having items being delivered late?? Im pondering canceling the order because I don't want to worry about them not showing up before I leave. Would hate for them to sit at the front door for a week while I was away.
