Re: Enough with leggings, and seeing too much

While I have nothing at all against leggings in general I do take exception to the women I saw in Walmart Monday!  (yea I considered where I was..)

suffice to say one was wearing a textured string bikini (her leggings were that thin) and every lump, bump and divot in her nether region was on full dsplay! I wanted to take a picture of her from the rear and say 'Is this really what you wanted to look like when you left the house?'

Yes I do believe our society has reached the "make it stop" point when it comes to leggings, and as Moses said in the movie ... "So let it be written so let it be done."

Maybe that's what the C stands for in QVC.

Quality, Value and Crotch Shots.

I recently saw one of the models prancing around in her Breezies bra and panties.  They should use mannequins for these!!!

@fortune

Prancing was she?! Now that must have been quite a sight!

Was there any music for her to prance to or was it just, let's call it, free styling?

Was it all out, up and down, prancing for the camera? In one place, like a pony, or back and forth?

I personally love leggins for the reason that they are not thick and heavy around my crotch.  "Blue jeans" have layers of thick fabric meeting in that area which is hot and rubs and creates yeast that can lead to bladder and kidney infection.  Give me leggings or give me skirts.  No more yeast-inducing "levis" or "blue jeans."

Just wear a skirt and go commando!

Not trying to be tacky nor facetious but in earlier times when ladies wore longer skirts, save the time they were having their menses, they wore open-crotch panties made of cotton.  I would bet they had fewer urinary tract infections.  Being able to urinate when one needs to and not holding it keeps the genitourinary tract cleaner because it is frequently being cleaned with the body's natural cleansers.  The inconvenience of voiding the bladder, admittedly by myself, makes me less inclined to go to the bathroom every time I have the urge.  I wait when I should not due to the inconvenience.

Re: Enough with leggings, and seeing too much

I do not wear leggings, and I am tired of seeing them described as something all women need, but I have never seen hosts or models or vendors wearing leggings and showing too much. I have seen women in my city wearing leggings with short tops - not a good look.

Re: Enough with leggings, and seeing too much

Quite a few years ago, when tunics were NOT popular and all the tops were cropped or at the very least came to your hip bones, they also showed legglings, or at least tight pants with them.

There was a lot of unflattering remarks made about the models in this attire on a popular website that talked a lot about TV (not here)...... Some very crude remarks were made at the time using slang that I can't repeat.  I remember this because I had noticed it while watching QVC and was surprised to read about it there.....  so yes, it has occured and maybe in the time since then, the dressers have tried to be more modest?   But it sure helps to have a tunic top.....
