Embellished Denim Jackets

[ Edited ]

The Quacker Factory topic reminded me of other embellished denim jackets I bought from QVC years ago .... and still wear.

  • The QF one I mentioned above.

  • Indigo Moon..  beads and sequin's, "silky" appliques in various colors and shapes.

  • Spirit by Sandy Starkman (favorite jacket)  ...beads and appliques.

---------------

ETA .... you can see both the Sandy Starkman and Indigo Moon styles if you google their names and select images.    jazzy Jackets!

Re: Embellished Denim Jackets

I believe I have one Indigo Moon jacket stashed away somewhere.

Do you remember the nice suede jacket Jeanne sold once?  It was completely unlike anything else she ever sold.  It didn't last one airing and was quite a masterpiece.

There were 2 or 3 patterns.  The one I got was dark brown with a horse running across a desert scene.  I think it had a full moon on it.  I didn't wear it often as it was a little snug but I've still got it packed away.  It would probably fit now.  Ought to dig it out and wear it.

@Kachina624

I have a jacket from QVC that sounds similar ...

It's light beige suede ... mandarin collar ... ... brand is Look East.

It had a outdoor oriental scene on the back and front ... sort of light gray drawings.  It's a very subtle drawing.  I bought a sleeveless gray cashmere turtleneck sweater to wear with it.

I'm so glad this topic came up!  I just moved all the jackets to the other end of the hall closet ... ready for when Spring weater comes!

Jeanne also did this suede fringe jacket with embellishments ... I still have it tucked away in a trunk somewhere ...

Had a really fancy embellished blue jean jacket from Pamela McCoy  in the style of a suit jacket with built in vest  that I donated to charity.   The jacket was atleast 15 yrs old and I only wore it abt 4 times, pefect condition

I remember that jacket with the horses.  I also had a beige with the whipstitching but it wasn't horses just can't remember what the design on mine was.  Donated mne years ago as the suede was pretty stiff.

Re: Embellished Denim Jackets

I have many embellished denim jackets from Chico's that I've had for many years.  My newer embroidered ones are from Driftwood.
