I have a couple pair of embroidered jeans. Did not pay much for them. They are fun to wear.

I loved them but they were too expensive for me. Actually I liked the shirts more than the jeans. It reminded me of embroidering my jeans in the 70s. Maybe I need to get my embroidery back out.

I thought they were pretty and unique. But like tie-dye, it won't last. Pricey too.

Embroidery didn't go away very long.  I remember Martha Stewart and DG2 embroidered jeans in 2019.

I hesitate buying anything embroidered; although I really like it.  All I can see is catching it on something, pulling the thread and ruining all of it.

No way am I spending that much money on embroidered jeans, jean shirts, and definitely not those shorts.

I bought a pair of Martha Stewart embroidered jeans that were tonal.  Blue embroidery on blue jeans just down part of 1 pant leg - very pretty and not in your face.

I loved those jeans, but lost a bit of weight and had to give them away. Wish I could find them in a smaller size!

@Foxxee    I remember a beautiful Martha Stewart embroidered jean TSV that came in 4 or 5 patterns.  I got all but one and still wear them.  It was a heck of a lot earlier than 2019, however. I think they were about $39.

I also have a beautiful D&C embroidered denim shirt that rivals the ones they showed last night.  Didn't pay anywhere near even $50 for it.

You are probably right as to the year.  Time flies.

For a couple years during my Buyer & Product Development career, I chose textiles (Textile Shows are awesome!) and sometimes used embroidery - machine embroidery. I switched careers around 2000, so machine embroidery has been around for decades. I can't imagine any company implementing hand embroidery that does a large volume of sales in it.

@Desert Lily    Truly, hand embroidery would be out of the question for anything but a custom gown made for a very wealthy person.
