I have many pairs of both and vastly prefer the How Comfy due to a better fit. I actually go down a size from my usual D&C size.
QF stubbornly refuses to make true "petites" just because Jeanne Bice was short. Well, most of us who are short are also petite and don't want pants that come to rest at out bra band. So I don't buy them anymore. They're also baggy in the seat and the thighs are cut too big. Just an all-around poor fit.

Thanks everyone for the input...it was interesting to hear that How Comfy seem to run smaller...I love my Dream Jeannes and have noticed that the back (butt) seam does stretch out after awhile...but that being said I still will wear...thanks again ![]()

I find that the straight leg version (preferred) does not stretch out as much as the boot leg. I had fraying at the belt loops from pulling up the boot cut version. Yes, I stopped doing that.
I don't know why the leg opening looks smaller on the models than on mine. Maybe because I get tall but they are more like bell bottoms. Thanks for the info, Ciao Bella.

Dream Jeans are more comfortable but they stretch out. The HC jeans I tried I found ran small and I had to send back. I love the DJs for comfort but I hate the stretching issue- I guess you can always order a smaller size and wear them. I found the capri DJs really stretched out faster than my boot cut ones but maybe that is me. The dark wash does show some of the threads, white is no problem. I noticed they are out of stock in many sizes for QF and have been for a long time. Why keep trying to promoted them if you have no inventory. Bugs me.

It almost sounds like the QF is more for a pear shape maybe? Nothing is ever baggy in the butt or thighs on me.
I have a similar problem with tall v. long pants. I don't need talls. I am not tall. If I buy a tall pant, the waist is up under my breasts. But if I want to wear a decent heel, I need a long in pants. So I actually prefer when pants are short, regular, long instead of petite, regular and tall.

DJ don't work for me because short fit is not petite fit, a true petite will always need a shorter rise. How Comfy petites are a great fit and I love the fabric, not too stretchy, I never bought a D&Co. jean I didn't like.
