I don't wear linen because it wrinkles so much. But to me a pair of drawstring linen pants with a nice t shirt/top and a cute pair of sandals is the perfect summer uniform. Especially in the brutal heat and humidity all this week. I also love drawstring pants because it helps with my pear shape waist gap issue.

Now the paper bag waist style is also popular this summer.

I saw this pair online, I wonder how wrinkled they would get. They're 55% linen, 45% viscose. Laundry by ShellI Segal.

I love to see a man in white or tan linen drawstring pants, pastel colored v-neck tee.  Very sexy look to me.

@Greeneyedlady21

I do love those! And, same here, this style (gathered waist) just seems to work for my proportions.

I agree, also, the linen-look is really great for summer. Now, if they could just get the blend right so they don’t wrinkle!

Nordstrom, $48 I'd like something like this with my pajama blouse.

@Greeneyedlady21

I used to buy some very similar to the Old Navy pants from Kmart -- of all places.  They were their Basic Editions brand.

They still have some that are "linen blend" this year, but I liked the crinkle cotton better.  Of course, they no longer carry those.

The price was insanely low -- maybe $10 or $12 on sale.

All the Kmarts in my area are closed down, but the online store still has similar pants.

I like the green pants but do not like the navy stripe bell bottoms.  I am glad they are finally mixing linen with other fabrics so there is less wrinkling. Cat Happy

Re: Drawstring Linen Pants

[ Edited ]

@Greeneyedlady21  Cute!  Go for it.  Both white and black (I also own tan and some with thin vertical stripes) linen drawstring pants are a summer time staple for me.  As well as the required comfort level, they just always seem to be right for lots of occasions/running around.
