I love reds (blue-reds, not orangey), and I get compliments just about every time I wear red.  I'm a winter, so strong jewel colors and cool neutrals (black, navy, grey, cool taupe) are my flattering faves.  I don't do pastels, yellows, oranges, beiges, and rarely browns.

I only own one cotton red turtleneck.  I am not a red lover but I do love orange or colors in the orange family that go great with a medium gray.  I am loving gray more.  I have always owned dark gray sweaters, light gray tees and gray pants but now I can't get enough.  I pair with yellow, certain greens, blues and light taupes.  It's really a great neutral.

I used to do a red wash! I almost got married in red (it was 1970)!

I wear hot pink in the summer and a clear red in winter. I always have a red winter coat; it really cheers people up around January.

I get the most compliments when I wear red and hot pink but I also can wear any shade of green and snatch it up when I see it.
