Re: Do You Think QVC Should Dress the Vendor Reps

No, I don't think QVC "should dress the vendor reps". Those reps are there to sell their own products - not advertise for another vendor's clothing. I can't imagine telling Mally or Laura Geller or Josie Maran that QVC will be dressing them in Q sponsored clothes. LOL! I don't think that would be taken very well!

Aren't some of the vendor reps contractors for both vendor & QVC?

@Nonametoday The contractual status of some vendors may be linked to both QVC and the brand they represent.  Several represent more than one national brand, but I still land in favor of not compelling them to wear QVC's clothing. Of course, if they are selling a clothing brand they will wear an outfit from the collection, but if a vendor is selling Keurig or garden merchandise, why should she have to wear QVC clothes?

No. I don't like that idea at all. It's not the Q's place to dress vendors or tell them what to wear. It's a bit too controlling for me.

Some professions may require and need some kind of dress code, but I don't think that's necessary for brand representatives selling products on TV. If the vendor doesn't like how the representative is representing their brand, that's their call.

IMO it makes more sense to have hosts wear QVC clothes when they're selling fashion which they already do.

I think it should be optional, depending on the vendor, what he/she wants to do.

Re: Do You Think QVC Should Dress the Vendor Reps

I think people who sell at QVC should wear something from their line if it fits them, so we can see the item and their style, but I don't think they should be forced to wear something they are not selling.  They should be able to show their own style.

Style is personal, and they are not there to represent other brands.
