I doubt that many vendors would like the Q to dress them to advertise other sellers items. They want viewer focus on their products only, with no distractions, particularly with limited on air time. Regular vendors who appear to be friends often promote one another, but it seems voluntary, not forced.

I think Martha Stewart wears Dennis Basso. I'd like to see Valerie bring a line of clothing. She always dresses so classic.

Can you imagine telling Martha Stewart that today she has a choice in her size of either Quacker Factory or Denim & Co.? I'm not putting those brands down. I'm saying that's not how Martha represents herself and her brand. She dresses in her upscale fashions
No, I wouldn't put Martha in either of those lines, but I might put her in Nick and Zoe or another line that didn't get much airtime (so excluding D&C and QF that get plenty of airtime)
@Squirrels Are Trash True. But if it's mandated for one, it has to be mandated for all. I cannot see it for every vendor, including the men.
Martha wearing Dennis Basso makes perfect sense since they are very close personal friends. Another reason for her not to wear a different brand when she's on air, if not her own.
I've also heard some of the brand reps say it was a last minute call to come in to present. Which brands to match up with each brand rep, in their size, and sometimes on short notice is also a logistical nightmare for the crew and stylists to try arrange.
A lot of the brand reps already wear other brands, to support the brand rep. But they have always said it's their own, they bought it for their personal wear. Lelani, the Ryka rep, frequently wears a QVC brand clothing item. She wears a lot of Belle by Kim Gravel and Zuda. I've never heard her give item # to try to sell though.

No. QVC regularly puts models in clothing that is not their size, either because they don't have that model's size or because they don't know what size the model should be wearing. I've also heard a host mention that they are wearing the wrong size because it's not available. If QVC doesn't even have all sizes available for their hosts and models of the clothing being presented, how can we expect they have sizes of other clothing that is not even being presented available to fit all the vendors?
A vendor who is there to sell something that is not clothing should not be pressed into service to sell clothing. Plus, once you force your clothing on them, you also must give them the appropriate shoes (in their size) and accessories to wear with the clothing.

No QVC should not dress any vendor or guest. What a controlling idea.

No.

Absolutely not. They are individuals & have their own personal styles. They also know how to dress themselves so there's no need to go there.

@BlueFinch NO If the vendor doesn't like the way the rep presents, it's the vendor's place to tell them.
Besides, what the vendor/rep wears has never once determined any of my purchases, positively or negatively.

No, QVC should not dress the reps but their employer should monitor them for appropriateness. Most do well, however, once in a while one will go rogue.
Last week, for instance, a young lady selling a food product was dressed in an open lacy black dress with long sleeves that came to a point at her fingertips. Not only did she look like a witch, her attire was inappropriate for handling and showing food.

No I don't think the vendor reps should wear Q clothing unless they choose to. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.
I do appreciate that they include the item number of what the Q host is wearing in the "items recently on air". I frequently refer to this information.
