I've been so disappointed lately about how many items I have had to return. But I also notice when I shop in the stores I have to take a large number of items with me in the dressing room and end up with maybe 1 or 2 things that fit well. So it is just a gamble if what you order you actually will like or keep. Expensive.

I never ever "take a chance" when ordering from QVC, online or from catalogs. I only order styles and colors that I know will work ... and always check measurements.
I hardly ever have to return anything.
In stores, I'm not so discriminating when I take things into the dressing room and more often than not - buy nothing. Lately, I've been avoiding larger stores like Macy's and shopping more in smaller local shops. They don't carry a large variety of merchandise, but what they do carry is the type of thing that I wear.

After reading reviews I bought Isaac M. pants and what a great surprise. I went back and bought three more pairs! The fit was fabulous and look much more expensive. It was my first purchase of Isaac M. I will try his tops and sweaters and accessories. I also tried a George S. top, and again, outstanding! It made me feel beautiful! Wow! I will buy more from George. I'm now looking at Louis D. and Bob M. because all the rave reviews can't be wrong. I was buying a lot of liquid knit and found I was in a fashion rut. Don't get me wrong, I still love liquid knit but I have enough and love the new fashion from the guys.
It's been over a year since I have bought anything OTHER than Linea clothing from QVC, in my mind he is the best they have to offer. Beautiful classic designs, quality workmanship, and good fit, if you check the click here measurements. I don't love everything he offers, but I can say the same about any designer from any brick & mortar store also. I hope you find you enjoy his clothing as well.

I think buying clothes online always involves taking a chance. I always check measurements and buy styles that work for me, but I still find that I had to return a few things. I have had garments arrive that were the correct size but incorrect measurements. Sometimes the garment just doesn't appeal to me as much as it did online or on a model. This is why I rarely purchase clothes online anymore from any retailer. I would rather feel it and try it on in person and avoid returns.
When I try things on in the stores I don't buy as much as I used too either. I never buy anything that is just ok anymore. I have to love it or it has to serve a purpose for me to buy it.

I don't order anything from QVC that I might want to return.
I make sure when I buy something..that I will keep it.
I don't buy something just to buy it.

I haven't shopped in a store for clothing in probably five years. I just cannot do it physically. However, I would rather shop online, from a catalog, or the Q because I don't like the idea of how many people have tried on a garment before I do. Because of my depressed autoimmune issues, that is not a good way for me to go ever again, even if I could do it physically, which I can't.
Do I have to return stuff? Yes, occasionally.

Very basic things I shop online like bras, etc. But clothing & shoes, I always go to stores. It doesn't make sense to buy from QVC when there are better variety at stores and I won't have to pay the shipping/returns for it. Just about anything outside of clothes I do purchase online, mostly Amazon.

I don't mind returning things...if I had gone shopping to the stores, I would have had gas to pay for, sometimes parking, and of course, the extra time and effort. On QVC, I check the reviews and the measurements and try to make an educated guess. It is so helpful when people say in reviews that something runs large or small. Also, if I order more than one item, I just return everything in one box to save on postage. No sweat.
